Sheikh Ali Bin Khaled Al Thani participated for the first time in the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. He won sixth place in the jumping event with his horse ‘First Devision’, who he has described as a horse of a lifetime. In one of his interviews, he commented on First Devision’s character saying: “He’s so calm and lazy at home, but when you get him in the ring, he knows what to do.”
